With McDonald’s set to unveil order-and-pay technology in its mobile app in some markets this year, today we take a look at the top ways its customers interact with brands online.

Above all, McDonald’s Customers are most likely to be visiting a brand’s website. But particularly relevant here is that they’re 65% more likely to have downloaded or used a branded app, with just under a quarter reporting that they have done so in the last month.

Also pretty telling is that 3 of the 5 biggest over-indexes are for social interactions. Almost 1 in 5 are asking questions to brands on social networks each month, and they’re 70% more likely to be interacting with brands on messaging apps.
