Today we preview more data from our GWI Brand report to look at the brands that internet users are most likely to recommend and discuss online.

Of more than 75 names tracked by GWI across the automotive, FMCG/CPG, food, beverages, luxury, travel and consumer electronics sectors, it is Apple that features in the most conversations (10%).

Interestingly, though, more people say they would recommend Samsung (38%) than Apple (32%). That the latter is nevertheless the most talked about brand reflects just how willing its advocates are to engage in online conversations.
