To mark the 10th anniversary of Google’s IPO, our post today looks at the percentages who are visiting Google’s mobile website or using its app each month.

At a global level, an impressive 50% of internet users aged 16-64 are now engaging with the search giant on mobile. But this headline total can mask even stronger levels of engagement at a national level, with the figure reaching its highest in Malaysia (69%).

If we then extend this to look at total reach across all of the major internet major devices (PCs, laptops, mobiles and tablets), it’s clear why Google has so much to celebrate: a mighty 85% of global internet users are visiting the search engine in some form each month, peaking at 97% in Argentina.

Ten years after its IPO, then, Google really can claim to be ubiquitous.
