To mark the release of our new Generations report tomorrow, here we take a look at second-screen behaviors among Millennials, Gen X and Boomers.

Overall, a mighty 91% of Millennials say they’ve dual-screened while watching television – placing them just ahead of Gen X (85%) and someway in front of the Boomers (69%).

Millennials are particularly fond of mobiles for this activity: over two thirds are using this device to second-screen, compared to about half in Gen X and just a quarter of the Baby Boomers.

However, Generation X’s affinity for tablets is once more in evidence here: they are the most likely of all to use them as a dual-screening device.
