For our first Chart of the Day this week, we take stock of the numbers of Facebookers who are interacting with brands on the platform.

Our data shows that the vast majority of people have a FB account, and that almost all of them are visiting it each month. So, the reach for brands is huge, especially if you consider that, in addition to all the posts they might see in their newsfeeds or via ads, over a third say they are actively visiting brand pages.

What’s more, the potential for a brand to spread its presence and reach through social networks is abundantly clear too: some 24% of Facebookers are sharing either branded posts/articles or photos/videos, while a fifth report posting a comment about a brand in the last month.
