Following yesterday’s post on the rise of Android, today we look at the countries where iOS posts its best figures.
As our chart makes clear, Apple’s operating system retains strongholds in several mature internet nations – being used by more than 40% of the mobile audience in markets like Australia, the US and Canada.
In contrast, Android enjoys its greatest penetration levels in fast-growth countries – reaching an impressive 81% in South Korea but exceeding the three quarters mark in Spain, Taiwan and China too.
