For our first post this week, we preview data from our new Snapchat infographic to look at some of the demographics and social behaviors of Snapchat users.

Overall, it’s clear that Snapchat records it best figures among young audiences in some of the most mature internet markets – with the UK, USA and Ireland topping the list and some 30% of Snapchat’s total user base being American. And with usage dominated by the 16-24 group, it’s little surprise to see that 50% of Snapchatters are living with their parents.

Elsewhere, the trend towards multi-networking – using a wide range of networks and apps – continues to flourish. Some 93% of Snapchatters have a Facebook account, for example, while nearly half are using WhatsApp too.
