Today we are unveiling an evolution to our Analysis Platform. Over the last year, we’ve received a lot of feedback from our clients about the way they currently use our self-service Analysis Platform. We take great pride in providing the best possible service to our clients and we’ve taken client feedback on-board to produce a faster, easier to use, more intuitive and, ultimately, more useful online research platform.

Our most significant development is the brand new express view – known as the Report Builder. Report Builder allows for the rapid extraction of GlobalWebIndex data relating to pre-defined online behaviour reports. Reports range from Internet user demographics to Internet behaviour and social platforms. What’s more, reports are built up using target audiences you have already created in the Audience View.

Given that, typically, reports take less than 10 seconds to generate, the Report Builder allows for the quickest and easiest way to develop a detailed understanding of your target audience’s behaviour online. We also have the ability to customise the Report Builder to include the report options that you find most useful – to find out more about this, please contact your designated Account Manager. Of course, you’ll be pleased to learn that all reports created in the Report Builder can be extracted directly to PDF, ready for sharing.

As the platform evolutions are rolled out for all clients, you will notice that we have taken the decision to fuse together the Audience and Demographic views. This development will save users a lot of time, as all analysis can now take place from a single consolidated view. By popular demand, we are pleased to announce that we have now implemented the ability to export all charts directly to PDF. You will of course still be able to export raw data to Excel as normal.

Cross-tab view has seen some performance tweaks and will function as normal. To better reflect its functionality and to distinguish it from other Cross-tab tools, we have renamed this view “Cross-Tab Lite”. You’re still able to measure any two of our 150+ survey questions against one another with full indexing, horizontal and vertical relationship percentages, and universe size variables.

We’re always looking for ways to improve user experiences of GlobalWebIndex. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the new platform, so do feel free to drop us an email with your comments and suggestions.
