Almost a year on from Microsoft’s release of Windows 10, the success of its latest operating system is clear in the high levels of uptake seen in our data.

As it stands, almost 1 in 3 online adults are now using Windows 10. However, there are some strong regional differences: 43% of North American online adults have it, as do 37% in Europe. In fact, Windows 10 now trumps all other Windows OS in these regions. In contrast, APAC is significantly behind; only 1 in 4 internet users in this region are using this new OS.

Even so, with other Windows versions trending gently downwards, and with more-and-more people choosing – or being forced – to upgrade to 10, it’s inevitable these numbers will continue to increase across the board.
