Speculation that YouTube would be entering the live TV streaming market was confirmed last week with the announcement of YouTube TV. Today’s chart demonstrates the cross-device appeal of live streaming TV among U.S. YouTubers.

More than 4 in 10 U.S. YouTubers are doing this each month, and that just 3-points separate PCs/laptops (28%) and mobiles (25%) on this metric is significant, with mobile viewing climbing to almost 40% among 25-34s.

Our data also shows that YouTubers display an even preference between streaming and on-demand TV consumption. As a result, the ability to both live stream and access shows anytime via the service’s innovative unlimited cloud DVR offering is likely to appeal to a variety of needs.
