The latest move from Google-owned YouTube has seen it adding targeted shopping ads onto its video site, allowing users to shop for related content directly via video.

As our final Chart of the Day this week shows, online ads remain the most effective way for brands to bring their products to the attention of YouTubers; two thirds of the site’s active users say they find new products through online ads.

What’s more, many YouTubers regularly engage with these ads; last month, 26% say they clicked on one.
